Sir Jim Ratcliffe has reached out to Manchester United fans after stepping on board at Old Trafford. Investment from the INEOS founder was confirmed on Christmas Eve.
The deal worth around £1.25billion, for a 25 per cent share in the Premier League giants, is subject to ratification from the division's governing body.
During his first statement, the 71-year-old outlined his lofty ambitions for United moving forward as INEOS Group aim to restore the club to former glories.
However, while doubling down on that stance in an open letter which was sent to Manchester United Supporters Trust (MUST), the British billionaire also called for togetherness and an understanding of what the project might entail over an indefinite timeframe.
