Coronation Street's Alex Bain's time on the soap is coming to an end. The insider claimed that his final scenes will air in the summer of 2024 before he bows out.Despite his exit being somewhat cryptic, Alex has previously teased a new career on the horizon away from Weatherfield-based soap and it's far from what fans would expect.Whilst many would expect he would launch himself into another acting role, Alex has his sights set on something more creative.In June 2020, the 22-year-old launched the company Mjöllnir Productions Ltd, which according to Companies House, the company is registered under the nature of television programming and broadcasting activities.Now, Alex is listed under his full name as the only person with significant control of the company.Records also show that the company has zero employees while accounts for the year ending June 30, 2023, show that the actor has just £100 in his accounts, the same as in 2022.
