But a moment which really caught the attention of viewers was veteran judge Craig Revel Horwood's emotional moment.The 58 year old is renowned for his cutting judging technique and icy exterior - plus, his 19 year long run of barely showing any emotion.
So when he got teary during tonight's final and choked back tears, it initially left fans shocked. However, they then started to wonder whether there was a reason behind Craig's unfamiliar emotions - specifically that he was planning on leaving the show.
Craig has previously stated that he plans on staying at Strictly until he's 60, after being on the show since its inception in 2004.
