Sunday and Monday weather forecast as Coronation parties held across Greater Manchester

Although the Coronation itself may be over, there’s still a lot of bank holiday weekend left to enjoy. Celebrations continue to take place across Greater Manchester, with people holding street parties and events today and tomorrow.

Those who held street parties yesterday had to doge the showers, but Sunday is offering a much brighter outlook. A high of 20C is forecast by the Met Office for Greater Manchester today, potentially the warmest day of the year so far.

It’s set to remain dry throughout the day - perfect if you’re planning a barbecue. If you’re hoping for some sunshine though you might be disappointed, as it’s expected to be cloudy for most of the day.

This evening should be mild, with temperatures only dropping to 15C by 10pm.
