It's going to be a gloriously sunny Bank Holiday weekend across Greater Manchester - with temperatures hitting highs of 22C.
The Met Office said an area of high-pressure which has brought fine conditions across the UK over the last few days is forecast to persist through the weekend and into next week.
Travel experts believe it could however lead to a surge in traffic, with families hitting beauty spots to soak up the rays. On Saturday, temperatures are expected to reach 22C by around 3pm, with Sunday (May 28) looking to be slightly cooler with highs of 20C. There is no rain predicted. Pollen levels will be high over the next few days, with hay fever sufferers urged to take precautions.
