A summer beer festival will be arriving in Manchester next weekend featuring more than 20 beers as well as northern cocktails and frozen grapefruit margarita floats.
The Summer Beer Thing will run from within the garden neighbourhood at Kampus from next Friday to Sunday (June 30-July 2). There will be a range of beers from local breweries to choose from, including Manchester-based faves Squawk, Track and Sureshot, as well as guest kegs from Canada, the United States and Germany. The sister festival to the legendary Indy Man Beer Con, which launched in Manchester in 2017, the summer festival will see beer taps nestled throughout the garden area throughout the weekend whilst DJs play tunes and bring the party vibes.
Sheffield’s Triple Point, Dundee’s Holy Goat, Bristol’s Left Handed Giant and FLOC, from Canterbury, will also be available to taste alongside Rivington Brewing Co and Verdant, from Cornwall, the Lake District’s Lakes Brew Co, and Talking Tides from Redcar.
Beers from London’s Queer Brewing, a project setup to provide visibility for LGBTQ+ people in the beer industry, will also be available to enjoy.
