Scottish Water launch education programme to encourage youngsters to protect the future of water

Scottish Water has officially launched an education programme to encourage youngsters in Lanarkshire to protect the future of the area’s water.Generation H2O is designed to inspire youths to become part of a movement to celebrate and protect water, one of the most valuable and precious resources, creating responsible “water citizens” and connecting them to Scottish Water by raising awareness of the company.Partner organisations such as Forestry Land Scotland and the Steamship Sir Walter Scott Trust have spoken with school pupils about biodiversity, water safety and the history of water supplies as part of the campaign.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
