Yet, those tuning in from their sofas were less than impressed as they took to social media to plead with festival chiefs to up their game on the sound quality front.
Some armchair critics were also quick to brand the performance as "flat," as one person took to X to write: "#Glastonbury Well that didn't impress me much, flat as a pancake." A second gave their two cents: "This isn't impressing me much. #Glastonbury." Another fan added: "C'mon #Glastonbury sort the sound out for #Shania.
She's a trooper, so she's keeping on keeping on, but she deserves better than this!" Meanwhile, someone else quipped: "Are her in-ears not working, or is she just having one live? #Glastonbury." The sound quality of the performance even sparked concern among some fans, with one person posting: "Is Shania unwell?
