Russell Crowe might not be reprising his Oscar-winning role in Gladiator II, but it turns out that he’s headed back to Ancient Rome anyways.

The 60-year-old actor is not involved with the sequel to his 2000 blockbuster, which won him an Academy Award for his portrayal of Maximus.

However, he landed a starring role in the new movie The Last Druid, which is set in a similar time period. Details about his role have been revealed, too!
