New East Kilbride Integration Network group will support asylum seekers and refugee community in the town

A new community group is to host a welcome event for asylum seekers and refugees currently residing in East Kilbride and Strathaven this weekend.

East Kilbride Integration Network (EKin) is encouraging "all new Scots" to attend on Sunday, January 21, at 3pm in The Village Centre on Maxwell Drive, East Kilbride.EKin representative Rae Higgins said: "The newly-formed East Kilbride Integration Network aims to support the town’s asylum seekers and refugee community.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
