Georges and Peggy Rose, who were paired together by the match makers on the hit reality TV show on Channel 4 last year and had been together ever since, decided to call time on their romance, with Peggy making the "shock" announcement on Valentine's Day.
But Georges, 30, has now claimed he was left blindsided by 32 year old Peggy's split statement and admitted he was "trying to come to terms" with life without his girlfriend first.
Georges shared his statement with his 178,000 Instagram followers. He wrote: "Wasn't expecting a statement from Peggy regarding the situation.
