Riyad Mahrez says he will 'never forget' the Manchester City fans who supported him during his five-year spell at the Etihad.
Mahrez, 32, has left City to join Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli in a deal worth up to £30m. He joined from Leicester in 2018 for £60m, and has won 10 major trophies over the last five years, including last season's historic treble.
The winger played a key role in City's run to their first-ever Champions League final in 2021, and scored 78 goals in 236 appearances, registering 59 assists.
He leaves having helped City win the Champions League, FA Cup and third-successive Premier League title. In an emotional letter to City fans, Mahrez thanked supporters for embracing him and 'giving him the confidence' every time he wore the shirt.
