Baking Britain is set to return with plenty of sunshine - not that you'd know it by looking out of the window. Forecasters have insisted the heatwave that roasted the country last week is set to roar back to life with temperatures soaring towards the middle of the month.
New maps show the weather will inch back up to 29C with Netweather maps indicating a peak on Monday July 15, with southern towns including Brighton, Chichester, Dover, Eastbourne and Newhaven in line for the best temperatures.
But things aren't at all bad in the north either with highs of between 25C and 27C expected in Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham and several other cities in the Midlands.
Temperatures will be a little cooler in the west - though still nice enough to hit the beach - with a range of between 24C and 26C in Somerset and Devon and 17C and 21C in the more coastal parts of Devon and Cornwall.
