nypost.comFlorence Pugh was left shocked as she was hit in the face by an object thrown from the crowd during a “Dune: Part Two” panel at Comic-Con in São Paolo, Brazil, on Sunday.The incident took place when Pugh, 27, stood alongside her co-stars Timothée Chalamat, Austin Butler, Zendaya and more as they posed for photographs close to the edge of the stage.The unidentified object appeared to come from the audience above and landed directly on Pugh’s eye, according to a social media video.
As she exclaimed “Ow,” Chalamat, Butler, 32, and Zendaya, 27, all looked to the floor to see what it was.The “Wonka” actor, 27, for his part, appeared to lean over and ask “Are you okay?” to Pugh.Prior to the moment, the “Oppenheimer” actress appeared to be in good spirits with the rest of the cast.“I had an amazing time coming in and just hanging around with these people, let alone actually getting to work with them,” she said. “Coming in here — the power in this room — is because of that first movie, and we felt that when we went on set every single day.
