Jack Grealish and Sasha Attwood 'devastated' as they break silence on 'traumatic' burglary
ok.co.ukJack Grealish and his girlfriend Sasha Attwood have been left "devastated" after their £5.6 million mansion was burgled two days after Christmas Day.The footballer, 28, said the incident has been a "traumatic experience" for everyone as Sasha, 28 and his family had been at the Cheshire home when the mansion was raided.The family, including his parents, two sisters and brother reportedly hit panic buttons inside the property when the thieves struck, but they managed to steal £1 million worth of jewellery.
At the time of the incident on Wednesday, 27 December, the Manchester City footballer had been playing a match against Everton.
Jack played the full 90 minutes and found out about the break-in just after the final whistle and dashed back home. After a tough few days, Jack opened up about the burglary and wrote a lengthy post on Instagram before seeing in the New Year.
Sharing a snap of him and his adorable pooch he wrote: "I can’t begin to explain how devastated I am over the burglary that took place at my home a few days ago. "My family mean the world to me and nothing is more important than ensuring their safety.This has been a traumatic experience for all of us, I am just so grateful that nobody was hurt. "I have had so many amazing experiences and achievements over the last 12 months, but to be honest the best year of my life in football now doesn’t feel like something I can celebrate. "The people that commit these terrible crimes have no idea of the damage they cause to peoples lives.
