Emmerdale fans 'work out' character comeback after ITV soap boss teased 'return'
ok.co.ukEmmerdale fans think they have figured out which character is making a comeback to the village after the hit ITV soap's boss, Jane Hudson, teased the return of a "familiar face".
Only recently, Jane told press, including OK! , that there will be "at least one" summer wedding on the hit ITV soap, including Charity Dingle and Mackenzie Boyd's.
And the "familiar face" returning is linked to one of the weddings as they come back to the village for the nuptials. Jane said: "You all know we love a wedding, a summer wedding, in Emmerdale. "I can tell you there is another wedding [as well as Charity and Mack's] – at least one – coming up before we get to the end of summer. "I'm not going to tell you who, obviously.
And we’ll be having a familiar face returning before the end of summer. I think the audience will be absolutely delighted when this familiar face makes a return to the show." Jane added that the character will be back "for the foreseeable", teasing further: "Yes, the returning character is coming back for one of the weddings..." During Tuesday's episode, Brenda Walker admitted to Bob Hope that she was thinking of taking his daughter, Cathy, to see her big brother Scott Windsor as she struggles with school.Taking to Twitter, fans went wild over the mention as they questioned whether Scott, played by Ben Freeman, could make a return.
