ITV Emmerdale viewers 'work out' returning character as Cathy Hope heads for exit
manchestereveningnews.co.ukEmmerdale fans think they have worked out who will be returning to the Dales after a big tease from the ITV soap's boss. Jane Hudson, Emmerdale's executive producer, told press earlier this month that a "familiar face" would be making a comeback.
Teasing what's to come when the sunshine will, hopefully, be beaming across the country, Jane said: "You all know we love a summer wedding.
You’ve just watched a brilliant wedding but I can tell you there is another wedding - at least one - coming up before we get to the end of summer.
I won’t tell you who. "One of the weddings will be more traditional than Charity and Mackenzie’s, I can tell you that. There will be no A Team wigs or vans." She then added: "And we’ll be having a familiar face returning before the end of summer.
