Brianna Ghey's mother recalled the moment her daughter told her 'I think I'm going to die' weeks before she was allegedly murdered - after jurors were told one of the teenagers on trial messaged the other: "These tablets I gave her might slowly be killing her." The 16-year-old, a transgender girl, was stabbed 28 times in a park near Warrington, jurors at Manchester Crown Court have heard.
Girl X, from Warrington, and Boy Y, from Leigh, both deny murder. They cannot be named for legal reasons. On the third day of the trial, a statement was read on behalf of Esther Ghey, Brianna's mother.

stories "I know that she would sometimes spent time with Girl X after school," she said. "They would walk home together and go to Birchwood. "I think they also went to McDonald's." Ms Ghey said she was asked to recall an incident in which Brianna was 'really sick'.
