The worried mum of a missing schoolgirl is urging her to come home after she posted a new social media post. Eliza Wynn-Prendergast, from Tameside, has been missing from home for more than 24 hours.
An appeal issued by Greater Manchester Police this morning (December 18) said the 12-year-old was last seen on Dunkirk Street, Droylsden, at around 2pm yesterday.
Since the appeal went out, the youngster has posted on social media, prompting mum Jade Wynn to issue a direct plea to her daughter.
In a post on Facebook, shared with the Manchester Evening News by Jade, she said: "Eliza is still not home. Last seen this afternoon at 12.45 uploaded to her social media account currently wearing black leggings and USA Pro coat with a cap as in photo (above)."
