Former Manchester United striker Dwight Yorke has said that Jadon Sancho is on "borrowed time" at Old Trafford following another disappointing campaign at the club.
After being linked with just about every big-name club around Europe in the latter stages of his Borussia Dortmund career, United swooped for his signature in July 2021, signing him for £72.9million.
He had been a long-term target for the club to strengthen their right-wing options. However, he failed to live up to expectations in his maiden season at Old Trafford, resulting in Erik ten Hag making the decision to sign another right-sided winger just over 12 months later, drafting in Antony from Ajax for an even bigger fee.
The United manager had worked with the Brazilian in the Netherlands and was determined to add him to his squad last summer.
