Almost 190 anti-Semitic hate incidents on Jewish people in Greater Manchester have been reported since the Hamas attack on Israel, according to a charity.

Since the massacres on October 7, 188 anti-Semitic incidents have been reported in our region. The Community Security Trust (CST), which works within Jewish communities to offer security advice and support, revealed the disturbing figures yesterday (Friday, November 3).

The CTS said posters of Jewish hostages had been removed or defaced in Manchester, while a user in Manchester posted a sickening message on X - formerly known as Twitter - that 'Jews are not English, deport them all'.

The charity said an academic in Manchester also posted on an abusive message towards Jewish people on an online platform.
