The number of antisemitic incidents in Greater Manchester has climbed dramatically since the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7 new figures reveal.

The sickening incidents include 'Kill Jews' daubed on a Freedom for Palestine poster at a Manchester university and an instance of lit fireworks thrown towards young Jewish girls, according to a leading Jewish charity.

There have been 221 events recorded in the region in just the period from October 7 to November 10. The Community Security Trust (CST), which works within Jewish communities to offer security advice and support, say antisemitic incidents across the UK climb to an all-time high with at least 1205 instances recorded across the country in just over a month.

The group called the statistics 'unprecedentedly high', even compared to 'periods of previous conflicts involving Israel'.
