Alison Hammond engaged! Star and boyfriend Ben Hawkins 'proposed to one another'

Grant, is set to wed her landscaping beau Ben Hawkins. It's believed they met after Alison hired Ben for his gardening services at her Birmingham home.The pair have kept their romance out of the spotlight and are thought to have been dating for around two years.
Confirming the news of them taking the next step in their relationship, Ben's father, Colin, said the two flames proposed to one another.
Alison doesn't have an engagement ring, however, and it's unclear when the loved-up couple plan on exchanging their vows. Colin told Mail Online: "I do know they have both proposed to one another but there are no rings that I know of." He went on to brand Alison as "the nicest women I've ever met" as he gushed over how happy she and Ben are.
