Alison Hammond has shared a glimpse at her prep for the BAFTAs, ahead of co-hosting the biggest night in British film alongside Richard E.

Grant. The TV legend stayed overnight at the Savoy Hotel in London before waking up at the crack of dawn to meet her glam team.Telling fans that it feels "like Christmas," Alison admitted she's nervous about hosting and even took her script to bed as she shared a series of snaps from behind the scenes on her Instagram.

Sitting in her PJs in her hotel room, she said: “Morning everyone, it’s a really special day today because it’s the BAFTAs. Believe it or not, my day starts this early, it’s 7.12AM.

She continued: “I’m at the savoy hotel absolutely loving it, I’m very excited. You know when you feel like it’s Christmas? That’s what it feels like! “I slept with my script, nobody in my bed, just me.
