A woman has died after falling from a multi-storey car park near a hospital in Liverpool. Emergency crews were called to the car park on Mount Vernon Street, near the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, over reports of concern for the safety of the woman at around 5pm yesterday (Thursday).

A cordon was put in place but tragically, shortly after police and paramedics arrived, she fell from the building, the Liverpool Echo reports.
