A survey has found that four out of ten sports fans have been forced to cancel at least one of their TV subscriptions due to the cost of living crisis.
The monthly TV subscription model has dominated live sport for decades. For example, football fans in the UK needed three separate subscriptions - Sky Sports, BT Sport, Amazon Prime - to ensure that they got access to all 200 televised Premier League games this season.
