Diego Ramos Bechara editor Warner Bros. Games, the powerhouse games publisher behind “Hogwarts Legacy,” “Suicide Squad” and the “Batman: Arkham” series, has appointed Yves Lachance as the new vice president and studio head of Warner Bros.
Games Montréal. Lachance will manage all design, art, engineering and production for the Quebec-based games studio. He will work closely with the entire publishing organization and other studios within the company to maximize opportunities for the studio, reporting directly to Ben Bell, senior vice president of production and studios at Warner Bros.
Games. The AAA studio was put on the map when it was tasked with developing the prequel/sequel to the critically revered “Batman: Arkham City.” Warner Bros.
Games charged the Montréal studio with developing 2013’s “Batman: Arkham Origins” to give more time to the series’ lead developing studio, Rocksteady Games, to work on the franchise’s conclusion, 2014’s “Batman: Arkham Knight.” Since then, the company has only released one more game, 2022’s mix-received “Gotham Knights,” which gives players control of members of the Bat Family following Batman’s death.
