Now, she is hoping that she will be able to move to Edinburgh with her 16-year-old daughter Eve, who has always dreamt of living in the UK.The mum and daughter are currently living in Zhytomyr, after they were able to leave Kherson and escape "constant explosions and the Russian military".

Nadia explained that she was not unable to leave Ukraine completely due to her father who was suffering from an illness. However, things took a turn in December, 2023, when she sadly lost her dad, which took a significant toll on her daughter.

She has now made the decision to try and move to the Scottish capital for the benefit of her daughter, reports Edinburgh Live.
