Ryanair might be notorious for its less-than-stellar customer service, but it came in second in the UK, according to consumer champions Which?
In a survey involving over 4,000 participants in May this year, airlines were found to be the third worst sector for customer service out of nine industries evaluated.Wizz Air took the unfortunate title of the lowest-ranked airline, with a net satisfaction score of 13, falling well below the industry average of 52, reports the Express.
However, Wizz Air has strongly rejected the findings and pointed to the fact Which? had surveyed a small percentage of their customers and said they were serious about improving their customer services.Rocio Concha, Which?
director of policy and advocacy, said: "Travellers are currently facing some of the highest ever fares, but our latest survey shows the standards of customer service of some airlines to be very poor. "Airlines must step up their game and ensure they are properly investing in their customer services to make it easier for passengers to get in touch with someone who can help, and get timely and effective solutions when they encounter a problem."This comes as a blow to Wizz Air, especially since just a year ago the budget airline had pledged to better its services.
