During an interview with GQ published on Tuesday, the 27-year-old addressed speculation that his 2022 film Bones and All, in which he and Taylor Russell played cannibals on the run, was inspired by Armie.
He told the outlet it was completely coincidental, hard as that may be to believe: He denied a connection — but also said the accusations made him want to do the movie more: The novel, written by Camille DeAngelis, was published back in 2015.
