A teenager who was ‘riding a stolen off road motorbike’ was killed when he collided with a stationary vehicle, a coroner has been told.
Dean Barnes was just 16 years old when he died following the smash on Ainsdale Grove in Reddish, Stockport, on January 24. At the time, he was ‘riding a stolen off road motorbike’ with another male, Assistant Coroner Anna Morris was told this morning (February 17).
In the first hearing in the inquest into Dean’s death, which will conclude in the summer, Police Coroner Officer Laura Taylor confirmed the circumstances around the incident.
Ms Morris also confirmed his cause of death.
