Stephen Kingsley warns Aberdeen FC of European toil as he urges Hearts to hit the Premiership accelerator

Stephen Kingsley piled the Euro pressure on Aberdeen last night and warned the travel sickness doesn't get any easier.Hearts were in the Dons’ position last season after dropping from the Europa League play-off into the Conference League group stage.

Aberdeen - who have failed to win both of their Premiership fixtures immediately after Euro ties so far this season - now face seven games in a gruelling 23 day spell including a trip to Germany next week to face Bundesliga giants Eintracht Frankfurt.The two rivals square up at Tynecastle today and are expected to be battling it out for third place in the Premiership again this season - but sit eighth and 10th after poor starts.

But with the Jambos out of Europe already then they could take advantage of fresh legs over the coming weeks. Kingsley said: “Aberdeen have already had a taste of it with the initial stage of the season and games coming thick and fast.“It’s relentless.

It’s tough, especially with all the travelling. You need the help of the squad because it’s certainly not going to be the same 11 players starting every game.“There’s also injuries to add into it - we were plagued last season and still have boys out.
