Spain boss Luis de la Fuente has warned Scotland that they will face a better and stronger side than they beat at Hampden in March.
But he insisted that his players will have to play at the peak of their powers to beat a Scotland team he rates as belonging to the top level of European nations.
The veteran Spanish coach has watched his side win four straight games, including the Nations League final against Croatia, since being humbled at Hampden in what was only his second match in charge of his national team.
And he knows that despite the defeat in Glasgow, back to back wins against Scotland tonight and Norway in Oslo on Sunday will send Spain to Euro 2024 He said: “We have to win these two games.
