Remembrance events to take place across Rutherglen and Cambuslang this weekend

Remembrance events honouring those who lost their lives in both World Wars and other conflicts around the world will be held throughout Rutherglen and Cambuslang.Rutherglen’s main Remembrance event will be held on Sunday, November 12, at the Cenotaph on Glasgow Road at 12.30pm.However, as in recent years, a short wreath-laying ceremony will also be held at the Cenotaph at the Mill Street entrance to Rutherglen cemetery at 11am on Saturday, November 11 - the actual anniversary of the armistice.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
