Prince William and Kate Middleton's kids are both very sporty children, enjoying a rivalry when it comes to sports - just like their parents.Now, it's been revealed that their eldest son, Prince George, is following very closely in their competitive footsteps.

Recently, doting dad William shared an update on his son as he handed out MBEs at Windsor Castle reports the Mirror.Whilst chatting with Non Stanford - a lucky recipient of the 2023 Birthday Honours and a silver medalist triathlete at the Commonwealth Games and winner of the 2013 women's world triathlon title - he reportedly revealed that George has already taken a real liking to her sport, which combines swimming, running and cycling.The sports star said: "He was telling me how George has been doing triathlon at school."She continued: "There is also a gentleman who now works for William, has done a bit of triathlon and has been giving George advice about putting talcum powder in his shoes.

George has been sharing his talc with his classmates and they are all excited about these tips."Triathletes often use talcum powder in their cycling and running shoes in a bid to help their feet slip into their shoes easier and also reduces the risk of rubbing during the race.Elsewhere in their chat, Non revealed that Prince William 'asked about the future of triathlon and the talent that is coming through' adding that they 'had a very nice chat'.The young Prince has also taken a keen interest in rugby, recently progressing from playing tag rugby to touch rugby."They are trying to teach him the rules," Kate said while attending the Wales vs England Six Nations rugby match in Cardiff. "They move them around for their confidence.
