Santa set to switch on the lights as Christmas programme of events gets underway in Lanark

It will begin to look a lot like Christmas in Lanark this weekend as the annual lights switch-on takes place, and the count down to the big day gets underway in earnest.The town will welcome back its Christmas Market this Saturday, November 18, prior to the Christmas Lights being switched on.Thousands of local residents and visitors are anticipated to turn out for the sparkling spectacular event organised by South Lanarkshire Council.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
