Rangers fan knocked Celtic supporter unconscious with one punch at Scottish cup semi-final
dailyrecord.co.ukA Rangers fan knocked a brazen Celtic supporter unconscious for four minutes with one punch. Dexter Morrison, 23, attacked Kielan Boyce at Hampden Park before last season’s Scottish cup semi-final on April 17 2022.
The Gers faced rivals Celtic in a match that would later be won by the Ibrox side in extra time. Glasgow Sheriff Court heard that Mr Boyce approached and shouted at Rangers fans.
He said: “Fucking come on then, let’s f***ing go, here I f***ing am.” Mr Boyce also gestured his fist looking for a fight to start.
He then ran at a group of Rangers fans which sparked a fight.Prosecutor John Bedford said: “Mr Boyce began to back off from the other Rangers fans.“Morrison broke forward and punched Me Boyce once to the head.“This punch rendered Mr Boyce unconscious causing him to immediately fall to the ground.”Morrison then fled the scene, avoiding the police.
