Police trying to identify suspect as man left in critical condition after 'violent and frenzied' attack
manchestereveningnews.co.ukPolice are now trying to identify a suspect after a man was left in a critical condition following a 'violent, unprovoked and frenzied' attack in Urmston on Monday night (June 19).
Emergency services attended the scene, in an alleyway near Kingsway Park, at around 5.15pm, following reports that a man had sustained stab wounds.
The victim, aged in his 20s, was rushed to hospital with 'extremely serious injuries' and was left in a critical condition. A huge police scene remained in place on the quiet residential street overnight and throughout Tuesday (June 20). However, has now been eliminated from the enquiries. New CCTV images have now been released of a suspect leaving the scene. They show a male, dressed in dark clothing and a white surgical mask, who police want to speak to in connection with the attack.
