They will become the franchise’s governors once the NBA completes its vetting and approval process, according to ESPN. After the sale, Michael Jordan will retain a minority stake in the Charlotte Hornets.
While under Michael‘s ownership, the Hornets made the playoffs three times, losing in the first round each time. Michael has been the NBA’s only Black majority owner.
After the LA Lakers were eliminated from the playoffs this year, LeBron James shared that he is considering retirement.
