The iconic tennis event of Wimbledon makes its grand return this week, and if you've been waiting all year for the tournament to begin, it's likely you'll be glued to the TV for the coming weeks.Plenty of sports stars, royals and A-list celebs are expected to attend the courts and get involved in the event, and for those of us watching at home, we can feel closer to the action by preparing a certain sweet snack.

Strawberries and cream have been a Wimbledon tradition since the very first event back in 1877, and in preparation of this year's tournament, one journalist set out to decide which supermarket we should be buying these summer staples from.

Birmingham Live journalist Dayna Farrington visited her local Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Aldi to see which supermarket offered the tastiest strawberries and the most decadent cream for the most affordable price.
