Meet Cleo the 'cheeky' pooch who 'loves a cuddle' but has spent half her life searching for a home

With it being the most romantic day of the year, the team at Dogs Trust Manchester is hoping Cupid’s arrow strikes for two-year-old Italian Corso Cross, Cleo, as she has been waiting half her life to find her special someone.

If you are looking for love of the canine kind and enjoy long walks in the countryside, then the Denton-based rehoming centre is hoping Cleo will be your perfect match this Valentine’s Day.

The poor pooch had a difficult start in life as she had to be separated from her siblings as a puppy after developing parvovirus - a highly infectious disease that often proves fatal.

But against the odds, Cleo survived.
