Leanne Crichton claims Celtic boss Elena Sadiku was "naive" with her critical post match comments after her side lost in their Scottish Cup semi-final.Rangers ran out 2-0 winners at Hampden to set up a Final date with Hearts next month, and the Swede accused her stars of not being "brave" enough against their rivals.
She said: “If you look at this game as how we played, it was not Celtic. It was not us. From the first minute, I thought that we were not us.
We were not confident, we were not brave, and we don’t deserve to win. And that’s something that we need to learn from because if we play like this, we’re not going to win anything and that’s just the truth.”Gers boss Jo Potter revealed afterwards that she had no worries abut her team going on to win the game because they were FITTER than the Hoops.
She said: "I wasn't worried. I know we are fitter. I knew we'd get more chances. I said to the players at half-time I couldn't remember a stage where they worried us."Now BBC pundit Crichton, capped 72 times for Scotland, has questioned whether that was the best approach from Sadiku after such a disappointing result.
