If you didn’t already know, the Next in Fashion co-host is the daughter of two parents that didn’t necessarily have to pinch pennies throughout her childhood… Her mother, Yolanda Hadid, a Dutch model turned interior designer, has found herself a starring role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, while her father, Mohamed Hadid, is a Palestinian-born real estate developer.
Over the weekend, the mother of one acknowledged her privileged background, admitting to the Sunday Times: Related: Gigi & Zayn Are On ‘Better Terms’ As They Co-Parent She added, “I’ve always acknowledged that I come from privilege,” noting that while her parents “came from very little” before carving out their own lucrative careers, they’ve always encouraged her to put her best foot forward: What a lucky girl to have parents that could provide pretty much anything she needed financially, AND to be bestowed with such great advice.
