In response, Sam’s girlfriend, former Love Island star Zara, has taken to social media to poke fun at the TV personality’s love of giving hugs.
Sharing a meme on Instagram, Zara shared a GIF which showed Michael Scott from the US Office excitedly hugging Jim Halpert alongside the caption: “Sam at every possible opportunity." Zara isn’t the only one to make light of Sam’s habit, with social media users taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, to point out his interactions. “The way Sam keeps throwing himself to hug someone is just brilliant #ImACelebrity,” wrote one user. “Why are all of Sam’s hugs so aggressive #ImACelebrity,” another added.
