The Royal Family is reportedly getting ready for its biggest Christmas celebrations in years with a bumper turn out of the Firm around the dinner table. However, two people who are believed to have not made the guest list are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Since their dramatic exit from the Royal Family in 2020, they've chosen to spend the festive season in the States with their two kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, the Mirror reports. The couple have now not spent the holidays with the royals since 2018 but in the years prior, the Duke of Sussex was a key part of the family's Christmas celebrations, having spent almost every year with his nearest and dearest. One year, his once close sister-in-law Kate Middleton is believed to have presented him with a rather bold novelty present but fortunately it went down a treat. Her hilarious gift came before Harry started dating his now wife Meghan and was single following a string of high-profile romances. The royals are known to all sit down and open their Christmas gifts together which means the late Queen would have been watching when the prince opened his 'grow-your-own-girlfriend' kit from Kate. The family follows very specific rules on Christmas Day even when it comes to what time they can open their presents at.Instead of opening their gifts on Christmas morning, they actually do it the day before on Christmas Eve at around 6pm in Sandringham's white drawing room. The royals have to sneakily place their gifts in the room earlier that afternoon without being caught.Get the latest news sent straight to your messages by joining our WhatsApp community today. You'll receive daily updates on breaking news as well as the top headlines across Scotland. No one will be able to see
