Brianna, 16, boarded the number 28 bus from her home in Birchwood to Culcheth on Saturday, February 11. Later that afternoon she was found dead in Culcheth Linear Park by dog walkers.
She had been stabbed 28 times in the head, neck, back and chest, jurors at Manchester Crown Court have heard. Two teenagers, both aged 16, known in press reports as Girl X and Boy Y, deny murder.
