King Charles 'secretly met David Beckham' when he was too busy to see son Prince Harry on UK visit

King Charles had a private meeting with David Beckham, just after he allegedly turned down an opportunity to see Prince Harry due to his busy schedule.

After his doctors confirmed that The King could focus on getting back to a fuller diary, the King did not have the opportunity to see his younger son, who jetted into London on Tuesday, in preparation of his appearance at St Paul's Cathedral the next day to celebrate the Invictus Games.

Speaking about the situation, Harry's spokesperson revealed: "In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not the duke will meet with his father while in the UK this week, it, unfortunately, will not be possible due to His Majesty's full programme." "The Duke of course is understanding of his father's diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon." During Harry's brief visit to the UK, it emerged that the King held a meeting with former pro-footballer David Beckham regarding his charitable foundation.The pair reportedly spent quality time together at King's Highgrove residence in Gloucestershire.

Although no images were released of this private meeting, a source close to the King confirmed to The Sun that the pair did indeed catch up.
