Gogglebox watchers both on-screen and at home were left in tears after a touching moment in Friday's episode.The floodgates opened among regulars during a segment showing a nature documentary.

The clip from the Apple TV series involved an Octopus that died after laying its eggs.One couch duo that couldn't hide their sadness were Scots couple Joe and Roisín, with the latter joking that she'd need to grab the tissues to wipe back tears, reports Chronicle Live.Motivated by what she'd seen, Roisín added: “I want to be the new face of aquatic resistance.”The show, narrated by British actor Tom Hiddleston, also left viewers at home reeling, as many took to social media to share their feelings.
