The Mirror reports that the picture was taken in Australia, and shows a father and young child playing on the beach at the water's edge.
In the snap, the dad is pointing for the toddler to smile at the camera as the mum takes the photo of the family activity.The image seems innocent enough upon first glance, as you see others playing in the sea to the side of the pair.
However, upon closer inspection there is a small detail around the child's head in the shot which resembles a fin.Emergency rescue service, SES Chelsea Unit, had earlier notified of an unconfirmed shark sighting at a nearby beach on social media.
