EastEnders' Kim urged to go to hospital as illness worsens after accident

Denzel suffered severe injuries in the accident, which occurred when Kim became distracted by messages on Denise's, played by Diane Parish, phone which uncovered an affair between Denise and Ravi, played by Aaron Thiara.This was only the start of Kim's troubles, as she had to face court and was hit with a driving ban.
However, even before the court case, it became evident that Kim was struggling and that the accident had had a profound impact on her mental well-being.
Prior to her appearance in court, Denzel noticed Kim experiencing a panic attack when she was asked to drive for work. As the court date approached, Kim endured several more panic attacks, which she attempted to conceal from everyone around her.
